The More the Merrier

Today we went from days of little activity to all hands on deck.

The quiet early morning.

The not so quiet later morning.

Lots of activity with Plumbers and their offsiders digging trenches and huge holes in the ground.

Andrew and Andrew back putting finishing touches to the house site for the slab pour.

Water deliveries via small tanks and cars and trailers.

We were fascinated by the layers of topsoil and subsoil.

Trench work continues.

Then the job of back filling all the trenches.

Meanwhile the small job of building a shed continued.

By late evening the place was empty, quiet and almost finished.

So much ‘stuff’ under all that soil.

The rest of the week will see the slab poured and the first trial bricks made with our soil.
